Reflectix is a 5/16-Inch thick, seven layer, reflective insulation which is available in rolls of various widths and lengths. It is used extensively in both specialty and standard construction projects. Two outer layers of aluminum foil reflect 97-Percent of radiant heat. Each layer of foil is bonded to a tough layer of polyethylene for strength. Two inner layers of insulating bubbles resist conductive heat flow, while a center layer of polyethylene gives Reflectix high reliability and strength.

The industry standard is that tarps are cut and then finish up to 1’ shorter on each side after closing seams and hemming. For example, an industry standard 5’x7’ is rough cut at that size and finishes approximately 6” shorter. That’s almost 20% shorter than the listed size after it’s finished! Make sure your tarp is a DRY TOP tarp for a FULL FINISHED SIZE. DRY TOP Heavy Duty tarps are a dual laminated, 14×14 weave, polyethylene woven tarp. These tarps have plastic capped reinforced corners, rope reinforced hems, rust-resistant aluminum grommets on corners and approximately every 18”, UV treatment, and are a full finished size (+/- 3%). Available in 24 sizes and either white or silver/brown reversible colors. Always make sure that your tarps are securely tied down.
