When you turn on your InSinkErator’s instant hot water dispenser (sold separately), water travels up the supply line to the filter, then to the tank, where it’s heated to 200 degrees F. As the water is used, more water replaces it in the tank.
The tank’s stainless steel core provides greater durability, while a built-in InSinkErator F-201 filtration unit yields fresher-tasting water. A top-mounted expansion chamber and special aspiration system help the tank deliver optimal, on-demand water flow. The SST-FLTR is certified by NSF International and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). It contains a 115-volt, 750-watt, 6.25-amp heating element and a grounded three-prong plug. A thermal protection system helps prevent the product from overheating and meets UL standard 94HF-1 for flammability. The snap-action thermostat is factory-pre-set at 200 degrees F but is adjustable from 150 degrees F to 210 degrees F.
