The Aqua-Pure® Whole House Replacement Filter AP117, compared to competitive carbon cartridges, delivers more chlorine reduction capacity, higher flow rates, lower pressure drops, and superior ability to handle particulate. As part of a whole-house system the cartridge is an economical, effective solution for common water-quality problems, helping improve the clarity, taste, and odor of water for drinking, laundry, bathing, and other residential uses.
Manufactured by 3M Purification Inc., formerly CUNO Incorporated, the Aqua-Pure® AP117 replacement filter cartridge filters at a flow rate of 3 gallons/11.4 liters per minute. Water enters the cartridge at both ends, where it is prefiltered before flowing through a bed of high-absorption carbon. The cartridge has a five-micron filtration rating, allowing it to capture the smallest size particle generally considered to be a problem. It is 9 3/4 in /24.8 cm high. It is for use with systems AP11T, AP101T, AP1610SS, SST1HA, SS4 EPE-316L, SS8 EPE-316L, and SS12 EPE-316L.
